WHO ARE WE?
Voyager Consulting is a student-run, business organization that provides strategy consulting services to growth stage and Fortune 500 companies. Based in UC Berkeley, our consultants hail from diverse backgrounds and go through a rigorous selection and training process in order to deliver the best quality work to our clients.
HISTORY
Founded in 2012, Voyager has grown to over 40 members and 4 project teams per semester. In that time, Voyager has completed projects for a number of leading companies including Apple, Paramount, and Cartier. Alumni have brought those experiences to prestigious firms such as Bain & Company, Deloitte, Google, Apple, and more.
PROJECTS
Every semester, Voyager works with clients on 4-5 different projects with varying scopes for 10-12 weeks. Projects are headed by a project leader and strategy advisor alongside a team of 4 to 5 dedicated consultants. UC Berkeley and Berkeley Haas alumni, faculty, and administrators can sometimes act as mentors and play a role when appropriate.
PEOPLE
Aside from simply working together, our consultants also grow together. Despite a varied academic background including but not limited to Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Rhetoric and Public Policy, and Chemical Engineering, members share a passion for their work that is transformed into lifelong friendships.
CULTURE
The Voyager team is a close group of individuals bonded by shared personal and professional pursuits. New members connect over a weekend retreat and regular weekly socials such as happy hours, team dinners, concerts, kick-backs and more. We are a family above all - always there to help another member if they need it.
IMPACT
The key to Voyager’s growth has been a tireless work ethic to support the right strategy with the appropriate data no matter the size or difficulty of the problem. Each team is built specifically around the client and strives to craft a solution that will not only inform a client decision but make a measurable impact towards a client’s goal.
